Renegades claim first MINK League title with win over St. Joe

ST. JOESPH, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Renegades claimed its first ever MINK League title Saturday evening with a 4-0 shut-out win over the St. Joesph Mustangs.

Nick Panagos was a forced to be reckoned with on the mound throwing a complete nine inning game. He allowed just five hits in the game and recorded six strikeouts.

Justin Rivera, Nate McHugh and Kadyn Williams each managed to drive in a run in the victory.

Getting to Saturday's winner-take-all game was not easy for either team. Jefferson City won the opener on Thursday with a walk off in the 10th inning and St. Joe returned the favor on Friday with a walk off in the 12th.
