Nearly 600 Ameren customers lose power in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Nearly 600 Ameren customers near the Lake of the Ozarks have lost power.

Currently, there are 576 customers without power in Miller County. An Ameren spokesperson told ABC 17 News in an email that the outages were weather-related and that power should be restored to the area by 1 a.m.

Camden County also experienced an outage earlier, but it has been restored, according to online records. At least 500 customers were affected.

"We were also made aware of a separate incident with a power pole earlier, but were able to quickly restore any outages that occurred as a result," the spokesperson wrote.
