Moberly woman suffers serious injuries in Randolph County crash

CLARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Moberly woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 63 about a mile south of Clark, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The crash occurred as a 2009 Cadillac CTS – driven by Kelly Burkett, 43 – was heading southbound on Highway 63, went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.

Burkett was brought to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance. She was wearing a seatbelt, the crash report states.

Burkett was later treated and released, according to an MU Health Care spokesman.
