Correction: Alaska-Small Plane-Crash story

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — In a story published July 11, 2023, about a plane crash that killed Alaska bush pilot Jim Tweto, The Associated Press quoted Clint Johnson with the National Transportation Safety Board as saying the plane struck a tree, rendering its vertical stabilizer inoperative. The strike damaged the plane’s left horizontal stabilizer.
