Renegades rally from behind to down War Dogs

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City renegades overcame a six-run deficit to down the U.S. Military War Dogs 14-7 on Thursday night at Ernie Vivion Field.

The War Dogs put up six runs in the second inning to grab an early lead. JC started to chip away at the lead with three runs in the third, before putting together a six-run inning of their own in the fourth.

Kadyn Williams had a big day at the plate going 3-for-4 with four RBI's and Nate McHugh went 2-for-3 with four RBI's of his own.

Nick Panagos started the game allowing six runs in three innings. Brenden Wilson also threw three innings allowing just one run on three hits and racking up five strikeouts.

Up next - the Renegades will continue play at home on Friday against the Sedalia Bombers at 7 p.m.
