Man found guilty in Clark Lane shooting now also charged with assault
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia man who was recently sentenced to 18 years in the Department of Corrections is facing more charges.
Noah Solbrekken, 23, is charged with third-degree assault after alleging attacking another inmate Wednesday at the Boone County Jail, where he is currently being held.
Video footage allegedly showed Solbrekken punch another inmate in the head multiple times while the victim was playing cards, according to the probable cause statement.
Solbrekken was found guilty in May of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed-criminal action. He was sentenced Monday to 18 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections
At approximately 5 p.m. Nov. 2, officers responded to the 3700 block of Clark Lane for a shots-fired call. Officers learned people in two vehicles shot at each other.
