Tracking scattered showers and storms before more chances this weekend

Today: Scattered showers and storms remain throughout the region with rainfall totals up to 1/2" possible. Afternoon highs warm into the mid to upper 80s with winds out of the west at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s with some chances of scattered showers and storms still possible. Winds slowly switch out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Thursday morning sees chances of showers in southwestern portions of Mid-Missouri with highs into the lower 80s as winds remain out of the northwest. Chances of showers and storms begin to increase Friday late afternoon lasting throughout the remainder of the weekend.
