Three-star athlete Cam Dooley commits to Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three-star athlete Cam Dooley announced his commitment to Mizzou football on Saturday evening. This marks head coach Eli Drinkwitz' third 2024 commitment in the last two days.

Dooley was down to three SEC schools: Mizzou, Vanderbilt and Kentucky, but ultimately decided to bring his talent to Columbia.

Dooley plays a little bit of everything at Valley High School in Alabama. The 6-foot-4 athlete takes snaps at quarterback, wide receiver and safety.

In his junior season, he threw for eight touchdowns and ran for five more as the team's second-leading rusher.

This is Mizzou's third commitment for the 2024 class in just two days. Drinkwitz added wide receiver Jude James and safety Jackson Hancock on Friday. This marks six total commits for 2024.
