Police are seen in south Columbia neighborhood
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia police officers responded Wednesday night to a neighborhood in southern Columbia in the 600 block of Huntridge Drive.
An ABC 17 News reporter saw eight Columbia police officers at the scene, as well as a Crime Scene Investigation van.
A neighbor told ABC 17 News they heard what sounded like seven shots in succession.
Police tape was also seen and was taken down around 9:35 p.m. as CPD left the area. CPD told ABC 17 News that more information will be released.
Another police scene was viewed on East New Haven Road -- East of Highway 63 -- around 9:45 p.m. Police have not said if the two scenes are related. A reporter saw at least four police vehicles in the area and have closed off the road.
