Tracking a windy start to the week and above average temperatures

TONIGHT: I'm tracking winds calming down at about 10-12 mph from the WNW, and skies are staying clear. We'll be calming back down into the mid 60s by the end of the night.

TOMORROW: Winds will be picking back up, coming from the NW at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30. I'm tracking mostly sunny skies and temperatures getting up into the high 80s across mid-Missouri.

EXTENDED: Tuesday is our last day for good chances of plenty of sunshine, as I'm tracking chances of rain spread throughout the rest of the week. Our first chance for rain is early Wednesday morning, and our next best chance for rain after that is Saturday morning/early afternoon. Along with these daily rain chances come temperatures working their way up into the high 90s by Thursday, then slightly cooling off on Saturday with the help of some cloud cover. Along with these above average temperatures, the heat index will be rather intense, so make sure to stay hydrated and prepare for the summer heat on the way.
