Kansas woman hurt in Morgan County golf cart crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Pleasanton, Kansas, woman suffered serious injuries in a Tuesday golf cart crash in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred on Main Street about 100 feet north of Sunset Drive. A golf cart traveled down a hill and the driver – Hayden Riggs, 19, of Neosho – steered to the left, which caused the passenger to fall out of the vehicle, the report states.

Kristina Young, 18, was flown to University Hospital. Young and Riggs were not wearing seatbelts.
