Tracking dry conditions Friday ahead of rain arriving late tomorrow

This Morning: Mild in the mid-60s with partly cloudy skies. Expect another sharp warmup to the 80s by late morning.

Today: Highs climb to 90 again, and more mugginess will be present today so drink lots of water! A stray storm is possible in southern Missouri today but this chance is south of Mid-MO today.

Extended: Saturday sees increasing cloud cover with scattered showers and storms beginning closer to sunset. Highs remain in the lower 90s. Showers and storms become more widespread with heavy downpours, lighting, and gusty winds into Sunday. Father's Day will see lingering rain most of the day as showers finally pull out into Monday. The first half of next week sees increased sunshine and rebounding temperatures into the upper 80s and lower 90s.
