Renegades remain in first place after tight win over Griffons
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Jefferson City Renegades squeezed out a 4-3 home victory over the Nevada Griffons Thursday night. With a 9-8 record on the season, JC stays in first place of the MINK league.
The Renegades got off to a hot start with two runs drove in during the first inning by Camdenton's own Kam Durnin. The Griffons fought but to take the lead in the sixth, but runs drove in from Durnin and Justin Rivera sealed the deal.
Jefferson City will be back in action on the road Friday against the St. Joseph Mustangs.
