Tracking hot and dry conditions through tomorrow, weekend rain aiming for Father’s Day

THIS MORNING: Mostly clear, allowing temperatures to slip into the lower 60s. We'll already be nearing 80 by midmorning so stay hydrated all day!

TODAY: Patchy mid-level clouds are possible by the evening, but overall, it's a sunny day. Expect temperatures to swell to near 90 in the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Friday will bring slightly higher humidity as we track better moisture moving in from the southwest. This ultimately leads to a chance for isolated to scattered storms Friday night, but most of tomorrow will be dry. Saturday also looks to start primarily dry, but decent moisture levels will move in, and eventually lead to rain chances. We'll be watching for development in the afternoon, with better rain chances further into the evening. This will carry into Sunday morning, and more chances may return later in the day on Sunday with low pressure nearby. Some showers may stick around for Monday morning, but generally Monday looks dry. Temperatures are steadily near 90 for highs Friday and Saturday, with increased rain coverage keeping us in the low 80s on Sunday. We climb right back to the high 80s early next week.
