LU reaccredited by Higher Learning Commission

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Lincoln University was given a 10-year reaccreditation by the Higher Learning Commission, according to a Wednesday press release from the school.

The report from the HLC found the University met all criteria for accreditation, reaffirming its accredited status until the 2032-2033 school year. Lincoln has been accredited by the HLC since 1926.

 “We are grateful to the Higher Learning Commission and its Institutional Actions Council for their decision on the continued accreditation of Lincoln University,” Lincoln University President John B. Moseley said in a press release. “HLC lists ‘education as a public purpose’ among its values, and this accreditation means Lincoln University is successfully fulfilling our purpose. Our entire University played a role in this reaffirmation, and we are proud of the work we have done together.”
