Inmate dies at Jefferson City Correctional Center

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Corrections announced in a Wednesday press release that an inmate died Tuesday at the Jefferson City Correctional Center.

Ronald Harrison was the inmate who died. He was 54. An autopsy will be performed, according to the press release.

Harrison was serving a life sentence for second-degree murder and first-degree robbery charges from Stoddard County. He was sentenced May 4, 2005, according to Casenet.
