Tracking milder temperatures from a backdoor cold front

This Afternoon: Highs reach the mid-80s as a cold front passes from the northeast to the southwest. Scattered storms are possible with brief heavy downpours, lighting, and gusty winds being the main impacts.

Tonight: Lows cool to the upper 50s as winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Skies remain mostly cloudy with a few lingering isolated showers possible.

Extended: Thursday sees highs into the lower 80s with drier conditions. Temperatures climb into the upper 80s approaching Saturday. Saturday evening sees scattered chances of showers and storms becoming more widespread with a cold front passage into Sunday. Temperatures cool to the upper 70s Sunday.
