COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A truck crashed into a utility pole on the University of Missouri campus Monday morning.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the crash or whether anyone was hurt. Emergency dispatchers sent an alert to the public saying the crash was in the area of Ashland Road and College Avenue and shut down part of Ashland Road.

The crash happened a little after 9 a.m. A University of Missouri Police Department spokesperson said the driver was unhurt and the collision didn't lead to any power outages. The driver was ticketed for driving without insurance and arrested on an unrelated warrant.
