Man arrested after Jefferson City crash
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Police arrested a Jefferson City man Wednesday, saying he was "visibly intoxicated" after a crash on Missouri Boulevard.
The Jefferson City Police Department said in a news release that 34-year-old Zachary Dominguez, driving a Mazda 3, had attempted to change lanes when he struck the rear of a Chevy Traverse in the 2200 block. Dominguez then tried to turn back into the turn lane, where he struck the rear of a Ford F150, police say.
No one was injured, police said. Dominguez's vehicle and the Traverse had extensive damage.
Traffic in the area was paused for nearly 40 minutes to clear the disabled vehicles, police said.
Dominguez remained jailed Thursday without bond.
