QUESTION OF THE DAY: Does the City of Columbia do enough to support police officers?
On Tuesday, The Columbia Police Officers Association issued a call for residents to show up to the next City Council meeting to show political support for officers.
Public safety has been in the spotlight in Columbia this spring, with a string of high-profile violence and an investigation into two officers' use of force outside a bar. The union said Tuesday it wants people to contact their mayor and council members and show up next week at the council meeting to support police.
Do you think the city government is doing enough to support police? Vote in the poll.
