Tracking a warmer week with limited rain chances

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy and mild with lows in the mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

EXTENDED: High pressure has been bringing gorgeous weather for the weekend that looks to continue into early next week as highs only top near 80 tomorrow. Winds begin shifting back to the southeast into Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing more moisture to the region and perhaps a few isolated showers and storms as instability increases. Later in the week, a cold front sweeps in from the northeast, introducing cooler and less humid air for the end of the week as highs only reach near 80 with lows falling into the mid-50s Thursday and Friday nights. The weekend starts off dry on Saturday with highs in the mid-80s before a warm front lifts north across Mid-Missouri on Sunday. We can expect hotter temperatures Sunday and Memorial Day with the potential of a few showers and storms on Sunday. Week-long rain amounts will be less than 0.25".
