Tracking spotty showers and storms, patchy fog developing overnight

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms off and on overnight, patchy fog developing. Lows in the upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Spotty showers in the morning with slowly decreasing clouds. Highs in the lower 70s.

EXTENDED: The front settled across southern Missouri will continue to bring rounds of scattered showers and storms to the area tonight, with potential for isolated flooding along I-44 into Tuesday morning. Light spotty showers gradually decrease through mid-late morning, along with patchy fog. Expect temperatures to remain in the lower 70s with this cloud cover hanging around, but we'll see some late afternoon sunshine to make for a nice end to Tuesday. High pressure settles in for Wednesday and Thursday, keeping sunshine and highs in the lower 80s. A cold front moves through on Friday, bringing another half inch of rain through Friday night. If the front slows down, there could be some thunderstorms on Friday afternoon. The weekend is looking dry and seasonable with highs in the lower to mid-70s on Saturday and near 80 on Sunday afternoon.
