Mizzou baseball walks off second-straight game for sweep against Georgia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team completed the team's second SEC series sweep of the season in a 5-4 walk-off win against the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday night. It's the second-straight game that MU has won in walk-off fashion.

Hickman alum Cam Chick played the hero at Taylor Stadium. With the Tigers down 4-3, he drove one into right field to plate two runners and win the game.

MU will come out on the other side of the weekend 30-20 overall and 10-17 in the SEC.

Helias alum Trevor Austin was the lone Tiger to knock one over the fence in the win. MU third baseman Luke Mann didn't hit a home run for the first time in seven games, breaking up a streak. He is still one homer away from tying the program's all-time career home run record.

Up next - Mizzou will head to Auburn for the final series of the regular season. First pitch between the two Tiger teams will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 18.
