Woman dies in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 80-year-old Gravois Mills woman died in a one-vehicle crash Thursday on Clover Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Floy Beard died in the crash. She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

The crash occurred after Beard lost control of her 2022 Chevrolet Equinox due to an unknown reason and traveled into the lake. Beard's body was found floating in the water on Friday. She was pronounced dead at the Morgan County Coroner’s Office.
