EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.

The Mizzou baseball team keeps its perfect midweek record alive with Wednesday's 8-3 road win over SIUE.

The Tigers took a solid lead in the fourth inning scoring four runs and never looking back. Matt Garcia had a big day in the nine spot going 3-for-4 and bringing in a team-high three runs. Hank Zeisler had a two-run RBI double, plus Dylan Leach and Ross Lovich also brought in one run each.

Javyn Pimental got the start on the mound throwing two scoreless innings followed by two more from Brock Lucas. In total, five different MU pitchers saw time in the circle.

The group improves to 24-16 and will continue the road-trip with a weekend SEC series in Florida. The Tigers and No. 4 Gators will kick off the three-game series Friday at 6 p.m.
