Jefferson City man faces federal charges

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man charged in relation to a robbery at River Region Credit Union in January is facing federal charges.

Tre Connor, 28, is facing federal bank robbing charges after he is accused of brandishing a gun and taking $111,700.

Court documents state Connor entered the credit union with a gun and ordered an employee to open the vault.

Federal officials said that they were able to use security footage along with access to photos on social media to connect Connor to the scene.
