A Chillicothe man was arrested this week and charged with second-degree statutory rape.

Keagan Duane Allen, 22, was arrested and booked into the Boone County Jail on Monday, according to online jail records. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond. An entry appearance waiver and not-guilty plea were entered Sunday, according to Casenet.

A court date has not been set.

Court documents say that on Jan. 10, 2022, the Moberly Police Department was contacted by a woman who claimed her husband, Allen, admitted to being in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

The victim allegedly told police in an interview that she met up with and had physical contact with Allen in September 2022 and told him she was 16 (she was 15 at the time). Allen allegedly told her he did not care about her age, according to the probable cause statement. She also allegedly told police that she and Allen exchanged “sexual images” with each other.
