Man found guilty of several child-sex crimes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County jury on Friday found a man guilty of several child-sex crimes following a four-day jury trial.

Timothy McWilliams, 44, was charged after he was accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl in 2014. He was found guilty of first-degree child molestation, first-degree statutory, sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography.

McWilliams is listed on the Boone County Jail roster.

A new trial was ordered in 2018 after he was found guilty in 2017.
