Mizzou running back Taj Butts enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou sophomore running back Taj Butts announced Saturday that he has entered the transfer portal.

The St. Louis native from DeSmet High School came to MU in 2021. He redshirted his freshman year and last yearapp eared in six games and even received his first career start at South Carolina.

He didn't record any rushing yards last season, but did have a 10-yard reception against Kentucky.

Butts enters the portal with three years of eligibility remaining.
