Jefferson City Public Works announces street closures

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Department of Public Works on Friday announced a pair of street closures.

The first, Jefferson City Wastewater in conjunction with their contractor Don Schnieders Excavating will be replacing roadway near the 5200 block of Scruggs Station Road, according to a press release.

Work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Monday.

The department also announced in a press release that Monroe Street will be closed 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday between Union Street and Woodlawn Avenue to stage a crane for work on Capital Region Medical Center.
