Road closure announced in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Department of Public Works said in a Friday press release that Commercial Way between Madison and Monroe streets will close at 8 a.m. Monday for alley repairs for Ameren UE.

The road is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. Friday, April 14.

Traffic will be restricted, but deliveries to area businesses will continue, according to the release.

Motorists are urged to take caution and find alternate routes if possible.
