Masters Live Updates | Koepka stays hot, Phil makes move
AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Brooks Koepka was among the early starters for the second round of the Masters on Friday, and a birdie at the par-5 second and a couple of nice par saves moved him ahead of first-round co-leaders Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm. Koepka is leading a contingent of LIV Golf players on the Augusta National scoreboard. One of them is Phil Mickelson, who shot 71 on Thursday and birdied the first Friday to reach 2 under. Hovland and Rahm are among the final groups that will go off for their second round, and that means they could get the brunt of wet, windy weather that is expected to arrive in the afternoon.
