New Boone Electric Cooperative headquarters opening Monday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone Electric Cooperative is opening its new headquarters at 8 a.m. Monday, according to a press release.

The building is located at at 1413 Rangeline St.

Boone Electric's temporary office at 1905 W. Ash St. will be closed on Friday, according to the press release.

On Sept. 18, 2019, the Boone Electric Cooperative Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the eventual $29 million building project.

 “The new cooperative campus will serve the community for decades to come, thanks to the partnership of everyone involved,” Todd Culley, CEO/general manager of Boone Electric said in a press release. “Despite the pandemic, labor and material shortages, supply chain issues, and economic challenges, this community construction partnership pushed forward successfully and created a facility that allows Boone Electric to serve the coop’s members reliably and safely for many years.”
