Tracking a calm Easter weekend
TODAY: It's a quiet pattern ahead, with a lot of sunshine in the forecast. This starts today with our only obstruction being some high clouds streaming in from the south. Clouds are thickest to the south, but overall the forecast remains mostly sunny so grab the sunglasses. Skies are clear thanks to high pressure, which also has us near freezing with frosty conditions to start the day. We'll only climb into the mid-50s with a northerly breeze through out the day, despite all the sunshine.
TONIGHT: Winds shift to pull in southerly air later this evening. Temperatures still drop into the low 30s by early tomorrow, making for another frosty start for some.
EXTENDED: South winds pay dividends on Friday, with a high in the mid-60s under mostly sunny skies. On Saturday, sunshine increases and temperatures remain in the 60s. With some more southerly flow, Sunday adds partly cloudy conditions with temperatures climbing just into the 70s. Monday will be much like Easter Sunday, but with a slim chance for showers. Rain chances look like a long shot as high pressure is building back in from the east to set us up for a dry and warm first half of next week.
