Man has serious injuries following crash in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Osage Beach man suffered serious injuries in a Monday afternoon crash after the Missouri State Highway Patrol says he jumped from his vehicle.

Richard Scharlott, 50, jumped from a 2020 Zhejiang Huaw on private property at 28270 Highway 175, according to an MSHP report.

He was brought to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance. He was not wearing a safety device.
