Mizzou guard Lauren Hansen enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou guard Lauren Hansen took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon announcing that she has entered her name into the transfer portal.

Hansen played her freshman season at Auburn before transferring to Mizzou where she's spent the last three seasons.

The Long Island native had her best performances yet in Columbia this last season averaging a career best 12.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Hansen's best game this season came on the road against Ole Miss where she put up 26 points. In total, she had seven games with over 20 points.

Hansen enters the portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
