QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are you looking forward to roll carts in Columbia?

After years of debate, roll carts are coming to Columbia.

The city council approved the switch from bags set on curbs to the automated collection of wheeled trash bins Monday night. However, it will take about a year to make the switch.

But the carts aren't without their opponents -- primarily older and disabled people who have concerns about them being unwieldy and taking up space.
