Connor McDavid has already set career highs in goals and points with 15 games left for the Edmonton Oilers to play during the NHL regular season. McDavid surpassing 50 goals for the first time thanks to more of a shoot-first mentality has caught the attention of the hockey world. He’s a shoo-in to win the Hart Trophy as league MVP for the third time. Goal-scoring is just the latest area McDavid has dominated in during his eight-year pro career. Winning the Stanley Cup is just about the only thing he has not accomplished.
