Columbia College MBB captures an AMC Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College men's basketball team claimed an AMC Championship win over Central Baptist College, 62-53, on Tuesday night. It is the first time the Cougars have won the championship since 2016.

Montgomery County alum Collin Parker and Marlon Allen co-led the team with 12 points apiece. Tony Burks and Trendon Tisdale were right behind them with nine points apiece.

Up next - the Cougars will await their destination in the NAIA Tournament. The selection show is on Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
