Tracking a slight cool down Tuesday, rain and storms on Wednesday
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and breezy with lows in the lower 30s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and slightly cooler with highs in the mid-50s.
EXTENDED: A weak disturbance rolls through tonight, bringing more clouds and perhaps a sprinkle or two. Temperatures drop to the low 30s by morning, and tomorrow is a touch cooler in the mid-50s but otherwise sunny and breezy. A warm front moves in ahead of low pressure on Tuesday night, bringing our temperatures up overnight into the 50s by daybreak Wednesday. Showers move in shortly thereafter, with rain moving in west to east after 6:00 a.m. Rain and a few thunderstorm will continue throughout the day, with showers tapering off around dinner time or shortly after. Highs on Wednesday reach the 60s with strong southwest winds. Rain amounts will be in the 1" to 1.5" range, and the severe weather risk with this system stays to our south. The cold front with this system lags behind into Thursday, bringing temperatures down from the upper 40s to the 30s by early evening. Lows on Friday morning will be cold, falling into the upper teens to around 20. Friday is chilly with highs right around 40, and a chance of rain or a brief mix overnight. Impacts look limited at this time. Showers are possible again Saturday night into Sunday as low pressure tracks to our south, but temperatures will warm into the 50s again for the weekend.
