Bruins’ Ullmark is NHL’s biggest goalie surprise this season

Few expected Linus Ullmark to be the top goaltender in the NHL and backstop the Boston Bruins to the best record in the league. The same goes with Stuart Skinner in Edmonton and Logan Thompson in Vegas. All three were All-Stars and are among the biggest goalie surprises this season. Ullmark ranks first in wins, save percentage and goals-against average. He’s one of many reasons the Bruins are on pace for the best season in NHL history. The 29-year-old from Sweden is more comfortable in Boston than he was just after signing there and it’s showing on the ice.
