Tracking a windy afternoon with Tuesday showers

Today: A wind advisory remains across portions of Mid-Missouri until 3 AM on Wednesday morning with potential gusts of wind up to 55 mph possible. Skies remain mostly sunny with highs into the upper 50s.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 40s with skies seeing increasing cloud cover.

Extended: Showers will pull back into Mid-Missouri after 2 AM Tuesday morning becoming widespread by Mid-Morning. A few rumbles of thunder will become possible Tuesday afternoon as showers continue. Rainfall will exit the region Tuesday evening. Wednesday sees highs into the mid-60s before a cold front moves through the area cooling temperatures dramatically. Thursday morning welcomes the possibility of a light wintry mix with low travel impacts expected.
