Tracking a mild start to the week, rain returning Tuesday

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s to around 60.

EXTENDED: Low pressure begins to approach the area on Monday night, increasing clouds and keeping temperatures near 40 overnight. Showers move in on Tuesday, bringing less than 0.5" of total rainfall. We can expect gusty winds up to 40 mph as this system works through the area, and highs in the mid-50s. Strong southwest winds continue overnight, keeping temperatures near 40 on Wednesday morning. Wednesday is warm with highs in the low to mid-60s ahead of our next system that will bring a chance of rain and snow on Thursday. That cold front drops us to about 40 for a high on Thursday afternoon. The rest of the week is looking dry and chilly with highs in the low 30s by Friday. Next weekend is more spring like as upper high pressure brings temperatures back up into the 50s.
