Tractor-trailer carrying potatoes overturns in Moberly

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A tractor-trailer carrying boxes of potatoes crashed and overturned on Highway 63 in Moberly on Friday morning.

The Moberly Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Moberly Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash in the northbound lane of Highway 63 north of the Bus 63 overpass, according to the Moberly Police Department.

According to Highway Patrol crash reports, the driver of the truck had a medical emergency that caused the crash.

First responders were on the scene for several hours. The crash involved one vehicle, and the driver suffered moderate injuries.
