Tracking a mild, warmer week with chances for light rain

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies for Mid-Missouri, with winds still going strong from the south west. If you're going out, make sure to secure any loose belongings, as we could see gusts up to 25 mph.

TOMORROW: Winds are calming down for our area and shifting west at about 8-12 mph, and we're looking at a warmer day than today. Temperatures getting higher up in the low 50s, and the skies are tracking to be mostly sunny.

EXTENDED: Monday looks to be our warmest day of the week, with temperatures possibly reaching the low 60s for our high. This comes with chances for stronger winds again, which is the main reason we'll be experiencing these types of temperatures. As for the rest of the week, we seem to be cooling back down into the lower 50s. We are also looking at some chances for rain in the middle of the week, with our first chance being early Tuesday morning. If we do see this, the amounts are looking low, and it's tracking to exit before the end of your morning. Our next chance is late Wednesday night along with a low pressure system sweeping through our area. This system will track into Thursday morning, which could bring us a little more than the system on Tuesday. The placement is still scattered across different weather maps, but as of right now, we're right on the edge. We have one more chance for rain Friday coming along with another low pressure system, but the likelihood is low as of right now.
