Cooler weather in store for Friday and Saturday

TONIGHT: Broken clouds will remain for most of the viewing area through the evening. Temperatures will remain chilly but above normal, falling through the 40s. Rain chances will be limited but spotty sprinkles south of I-70 are possible.

FRIDAY: An early morning cold front will bring steady northwesterly winds through the morning. Temperatures will start out in the upper 30s and hang out in the low 40s through the afternoon. Passing flurries or drizzle is possible throughout the day, with clouds sticking around.

EXTENDED: Clouds will stick around Saturday morning, with cooler temperatures and flurries possible. Sunshine will return in the late afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and low 40s. A warm front will lift through Saturday night into Sunday morning, leading to mild temperatures to close out the weekend.
