Missouri Department of Revenue to accept tax returns through e-filing

The Missouri Department of Revenue has started accepting electronically filed state tax returns for tax year 2022. 

The DOR is giving taxpayers tips, including to file electronically and use direct deposit, double-check your paper return, review tax credit guidelines and attach all required documentation.

Online services and resources include the DOR’s Tax Return Status Tracker allows customers to enroll in automatic text and email alerts that are sent each time the status of their return is updated. Customers need their Social Security number, filing status and anticipated refund or balance due to enroll and must reenroll each year.

Missouri tax forms for the 2022 tax year and prior years are available on the DOR’s website.

The due date for 2022 tax returns is April 18.
