MANCHESTER, England (AP) — After two games of the season Manchester United sat at the foot of the Premier League with no points and a goal difference of -5. Roll the clock forward five months and manager Erik ten Hag has turned the club’s fortunes around. A win against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday will spark belief that a title challenge is on. This was supposed to be a season of transition and after back-to-back losses at the start of the campaign United looked more likely to fight against relegation rather than compete for the title. United trails Arsenal by eight points.
