Tracking weekend snow

Today: Highs warm into the upper 30s with a light drizzle finally parting the region by the late afternoon hours. Winds remain gusty out of the west gusting up to 35 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the upper 20s tonight with partly cloudy skies. Wind gusts from the west once again reach into the 30s.

Extended: Friday sees partly cloudy skies with temperatures into the lower 40s. Saturday afternoon will begin mostly cloudy before a wintry mix moves into the region from the region. Snow will mostly likely fall as the primary precipitation late Saturday into early Sunday for areas north of Jefferson City. Areas north of Jefferson City could see a dusting up to an inch of accumulating snowfall while areas south will mostly likely just see rain.
