Ballard will be patient in finding right coach for Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis Colts coach Chris Ballard says he will be patient in conducting the team’s coaching search. Ballard would not discuss specific candidates other than to say interim coach Jeff Saturday would be interviewed by the Colts. But two days after completing a 4-12-1 season and earning the No. 4 pick in April’s NFL draft, Ballard told reporters he blamed himself for the poor results and that he could wait until mid-February to make a hire.
